National Mathematics Day Celebration

School celebrated National Mathematics Day on 30th December 2025 with excitement and creativity to honor Srinivasa Ramanujan. Organized by the Mathematics Department, the event came alive with the inspiring presence of Chief Guest Mrs. Aruna Shobhane, a retired Mathematics professor. Students turned numbers into fun through a lively Shape Parade, tricky Brain Teasers, an engaging presentation on the story of zero, and a fascinating Abacus demonstration, making the day a joyful and memorable celebration of mathematics.

CAROL SINGING COMPETITION

We are thrilled to share that we secured 1st place 🎉🎁💐 in the Carol Singing Competition at Bishop Cotton School! The achievement was recognized with a ₹3,000 cash prize, a trophy, and certificates.

AIM-ATL Region Annual Mega Event -2025 Bootcamp Hackathon

We are pleased to share that our Std. XI students were selected to participate in the AIM-ATL Regional Annual Mega Event 2025 – Bootcamp Hackathon, organized by Atal Sarathi, GHRCE, and ATL G. H. Raisoni Public School, Nagpur.

The images capture our students actively engaged in project/app development at G. H. Raisoni Public School, Sukli. Evaluation and judgment of their innovative apps and projects were also underway during the event.

JUNIOR FES 25-26

The Junior FES 25–26 organized by Omega Academy on 9 December 2025 saw enthusiastic participation from students of various standards. Competitions included Drawing, Written Quiz, Extempore, and Elocution. Winners included Pavani Gupta (2nd Prize, Drawing), Purva Joshi (Consolation, Drawing), Divyam Sharma (Consolation, Quiz), and Anaya Khapekar (3rd Prize, Extempore). The event was a grand success, celebrating the talents and achievements of all students

Felicitations in our assembly celebrate hard work and inspire every child to aim higher. Each applause reminds us that effort and excellence always deserve recognition. VISIT TO VIDHAN BHAVAN

The main objective of this visit was to provide students with a firsthand experience of the legislative process and functioning of Vidhan Sabha Process, fostering civic awareness and understanding of democratic institutions.

Our students were fortunate to witness the sessions addressed by Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Shri Aaditya Thackeray in the Vidhan Bhavan, and Ms Pankaja Munde, daughter of Gopinath Munde, in the Vidhan Parishad.

The highlight of the visit was seeing and meeting Mr Manoj Sharma, the real-life inspiration behind movie 12th Fail. His presence truly motivated the children.

Balmela 2025 – A Day of Fun, Food and Festivity

The much-awaited Balmela 2025 was organised at Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar on 15th November 2025 with great enthusiasm, colour and excitement. The event was coordinated and executed by the students of Std. X under the guidance of their teachers. The Chief Guest for the day was Shri Rajendra Barai, Sectional Engineer, PWD, Nagpur. The school was also honoured by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Smt. Padmini Jog, Executive Committee Member, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra. Other eminent dignitaries included Shri K.M. Agrawal (Hon. Treasurer, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra), Smt. Anju Bhutani (Academic Coordinator-cum-Manager, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra), Shri T.L. Raja (Joint Director, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra), and Dr. Naresh Gill and Smt. Monica Harish (parent representative–SMC Members). The Bal Mela was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest along with other dignitaries present and appreciated the efforts of the students for creating such a vibrant festive environment. A wide variety of food stalls and game stalls added flavour and fun to the event. Students and visitors enjoyed an array of items such as Frankies, Tornado Potatoes, Pastries, Mocktails, Coffees, Coin Pizzas, South Indian delicacies, Pav Bhaji, Chinese items, Momos, Popcorn, Ice-creams, Waffles, Chocolates and many more. The game section offered thrilling challenges including Catch Your Goal, Accuracy to Fruity, Find the Key, Pull the Paper, Straw & Stick, Balloon Shooting, Catch the Ball in Cup, 360° Photo Booth, Trampoline, Camel Ride, Car Ride, Net Ball and others. Each stall showcased creativity, teamwork and excellent coordination by the students. The entire event was smoothly managed under the supervision of the teachers-in-charge Shri. Ajit Chhatani assisted by Smt. Yogini Paranjape, Smt. Rekha Kuthe & Smt. Bharati Nandanwar, whose guidance ensured discipline, safety and successful organisation. A special mention must be made of the guidance and support of Smt. Parwati G. Iyer, Principal, whose encouragement greatly contributed to the smooth organisation of the event. The Balmela 2025 concluded on a joyful note with smiling faces, satisfied visitors nearly two thousand, and teachers. It truly reflected the spirit of teamwork, leadership and festive celebration that the school stands for.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY ENGLISH REPORT

Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar, Nagpur hosted its grand Investiture Ceremony on 02/08/2025, reaffirming its commitment to fostering leadership and responsibility among its students. The event marked the formal induction of the newly elected student council, who took an oath to serve their school with dedication and integrity. The Chief Guest, Dr. Nitin Labhsetwar, Ex-Chief Scientist and Chair, Environmental Resource Planning & Management, CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur, inspired the gathering with his thought-provoking address. Highlighting the value of a stable life and abundant opportunities, he supported his message with statistics that resonated with the young audience.



JCI workshop

JCI organized a three-day intensive workshop at Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar, for a selected group of 20 students, aimed at preparing them for the upcoming Nagpur’s Young Orator Challenge. The workshop was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Swati Sarda Ma’am, a seasoned trainer and the Resource Person for the event. Over the course of two days, Dr. Sarda imparted valuable training in public speaking, confidence-building, and oratory techniques. Her sessions were interactive, engaging, and highly appreciated by all the participants.

Rakshabandhan at UMANG SUB AREA, SITABULDI FORT - 7th August 2025

22 cadets and 5 teachers today got the opportunity to celebrate Rakshabandhan at UMANG SUB AREA, SITABULDI FORT wherein they tied handmade rakhi to the soldiers of the cantonment area. 1200 rakhis made by our students from Std. I to X were gifted to the soldiers as a token of our gratitude, respect and love towards them for their dedicated service to the nation. We are thankful to Principal Madam for giving us this opportunity to be a part of such a unique initiative




AASHEERVACHANAM- 28th of January 2025

“Believe yourself, for those who have faith in their own abilities will undoubtedly move forward in life”said Dr. Ravindra Kumar Singal, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur city who graced the occasion as the chief guest for “Aasheervachanam”, a blessing ceremony organized by Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar, Nagpur on 28 th of January 2025 for the seventh batch of 163 students of Std.X. He reminded the outgoing batch of Std.X that life after school is challenging journey.






REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION- 26th January 2025

Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar celebrated the 76 th Republic Day on 26th January 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor between 9:00am to 11:30 am. Chief Guest for the day was Wing Commander K Maruthi Devi (Retd.) Indian Air Force, Air Force Command, Nagpur and the Guest of Honour was Shri K.M. Agrawal, Hon. Treasurer, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra along with Dr. (Smt.) Sunanda Sonarikar, Hon. Secretary, Nagpur Kendra; Dr. (Smt.) Prajakta Kaduskar & Dr. Ravindra Keskar Former Parent Representatives respectively. The chief guest presided over the event and unfurled the national tricolor, followed by the entire gathering singing the national anthem thereby instilling a sense of patriotism among all.






ALUMNI MEET- 22nd December 2024

The Alumni Meet was successfully organized on 22nd December 2024, bringing together the students of the first and second batchesof Std X students of Vidya Mandir. In all 83 students visited school and recreated the magic of school days. The event was filled with joy, nostalgia, and vibrant energy as the alumni reunited with their peers, teachers, and the school environment.






HERITAGE WALK - 17th February 2025

On February 17, 2025, Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir organized a "Heritage Walk" for its Std VI students. The event aimed to educate and sensitize students about Nagpur's rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks, fostering a sense of pride and appreciation for their city's legacy.
